Jesup – Jeffrey J. Ewalt, 65 years old, of Jesup, Iowa, died on Saturday, September 29, 2018, at Manor Care in Waterloo, Iowa.  He was born on September 2, 1953, in Fayetteville, North Carolina, the son of Marlin E. and Joan G. (Fuller) Ewalt.  Mr. Ewalt graduated from high school in Jesup with the Class of 1972. He was married to the former Beverly King at the 1^st United Methodist Church in Jesup.  They later divorced.  Mr. Ewalt was a painter and dry wall hanger.

Mr. Ewalt is survived by his mother, Joan Ewalt of Waterloo, 2 sons, Aaron (Angie) Ewalt of Cedar Falls, Iowa, and Nathan (Hannah) Ewalt of Edgewater, Colorado, and 1 granddaughter, Nova Lynn Ewalt.  He is also survived by 1 brother, Lowell (Brenda) Ewalt of Independence, Iowa, 1 sister, Iva (Randy) Ruehs of Jesup, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Sunday, October 7, 2018, at the Hook ‘N Liner in Littleton, Iowa.
