Jesup – Ann Marie Loeb, 63 years old of Jesup, IA, died Monday, February 5, 2018, at her home following a lengthy illness.

Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. – Saturday, February 17, 2018, at St. Athanasius Catholic Church, Jesup, IA, with inurnment at a later date.  The family will receive friends for an hour before services Saturday at the church.  Memorials may be directed to the family.

Ann Marie was born July 22, 1954, in Waterloo, IA, the daughter of Robert Alfred Kies and Marlene Margaret (Schmidt) Kies.  She graduated from Don Bosco High School, Gilbertville, IA, with the class of 1972.  On January 29, 1971, she was united in marriage to Ronald F. Lappe in Jesup, IA.  They divorced in 1984.  On March 14, 1988, she married Kenneth George Loeb in Jesup.  Ann Marie had worked as a cosmetologist; was a member of the Iowa Cosmetology Association, St. Athanasius Catholic Church, and had served on the St. Athanasius Credit Union board.

Ann Marie is survived by her husband, Kenneth Loeb of Jesup; one son, Shad (Candice) Lappe of Phoenix, AZ; one daughter, Jennifer Lappe of Grimes, IA; two grandchildren; 1 great grandson; and one brother, Mike (Paula) Kies of Jesup.  Her parents preceded her in death.
