Henrietta was born April 23, 1925 in Brandon, IA, the daughter of Henry and Edna (Albert) Naylor. On September 12, 1946, she and Paul M. Bellendier were married at St. John's Catholic Church in Independence. He preceded her in 2004. Henrietta was a homemaker and loved taking care of Paul and her 5 boys. She is survived by her five sons, Thomas (Kathryn) Bellendier of Independence; James (Marilyn) Bellendier of Lakeland, FL.; David (Julie) Bellendier of Moravia, IA.; Ronald (Laura) Bellendier of Burnsville, MN.; and Donald (Bouchi) Bellendier of Scottsdale, AZ. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; thirty-five great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. Henrietta is also survived by three sisters: Lorraine Romick, Florence Hermsen and Evelyn ”Pat” McCalley and six brothers: Lyle Naylor, Francis Naylor, Ronald Naylor, Donald Naylor, Kenneth Naylor and Richard Naylor. In addition to her husband, Henrietta was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers: Harold and Ivan; two grandsons: Timothy Bellendier and Terrance Bellendier; and one great-grandson, Terrynce Bellendier. Friends may call between the hours of 3 pm and 8 pm on Friday, January 5, 2018, at the White Funeral Home in Independence where a C.D.A. Rosary will be recited at 4 pm and a Vigil Service will be held at 7 pm on Friday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am Saturday, January 6, 2018, at St. John's Catholic Church in Independence, with Fr. David Beckman as the Celebrant. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery in Independence. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established, or you may make a donation in Henrietta’s name to a Hospice Center of your choice. White Funeral Home of Independence is in charge of the arrangements. |
