White Funeral Home Jesup – Jack W. Pence, 75 years old of Jesup, IA, died Friday, August 11, 2017, at his home. He was born January 22, 1942, in Gorin Missouri, the son of Edward H. Pence and Elva L. (Beard) Pence. He graduated from Gorin High School with the class of 1960. He was first married Patricia Davison on October 25, 1964 in Keokuk, IA. They later divorced. He later married Marcia Gayle Newberry, August 1, 1992, in Monticello, IL. She preceded him in death on April 29, 2006. Jack was a truck driver and had worked for various trucking companies through the years. Jack is survived by two daughters, Michelle (Jay) Frahm of Parks, AZ, Janna (Jeremy Benton) Ruwe of Oreana, IL; two sons, Chad (Robin) Pence of Midlothian, TX, Carl Dean (Julie) Davison of Carson City, NV; 11 grandchildren, Greg McLean, Jamie Collier, Carl Davison, Jr., Caleb Davison, Wesley Watson, Carson Frahm, Jace Frahm, Ashley Pence, Jack Pence, Jr., Alexandra Ruwe, Peyton Ruwe; three great grandchildren, Austin Collier, Chloe Collier and Hunter Pence; one sister, Sharon Thomas of Keokuk, IA and a dedicated companion, Sheila Postel of Jesup, IA. His parents; wife, Marcia; one grandson, Garrett Frahm; one brother, Larry L. Pence and one sister, Carol D. Pence, preceded him in death. A Celebration of Jack’s Life will be from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m., Saturday, August 19, 2017, at the White Funeral Home, 1315 Main Street, Jesup, IA. Memorials will be directed to the family.
