White Funeral Home DUNKERTON – Kimberly K. Donohue, 57 years old, of Dunkerton, Iowa, died Friday, June 16, 2017, at her home after a long illness. Funeral services will be 7:00 p.m. - Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at White Funeral Home, Jesup, Iowa, where there will be visitation from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Wednesday. Military rites will be conducted prior to the funeral service at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date in Hawaii. Memorials may be directed to the family. Kimberly Karol Donohue was born January 7, 1960, in Adrian, Michigan, the daughter of John Earl MacGeorge and Dorothy Louise (Gadomski) MacGeorge. She graduated from Tecumseh High School, Tecumseh, Michigan, with the class of 1978. She entered the United States Marine Corps, and on December 31, 1980, she was united in marriage to Richard Russell Donohue, Jr., in Oceanside, California. They made their home in Oceanside, before eventually moving to Dunkerton, Iowa. Kim was very proud of her service to her country. While in the Marine Corps she worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator and also as a Unit Diary Clerk. After moving to Dunkerton, she was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church – Barclay, Dunkerton Women’s Club, and multiple bowling leagues. Mrs. Donohue is survived by her husband, Richard Donohue, Jr. of Dunkerton; her mother, Dorothy MacGeorge, of Tecumseh, Michigan; four sisters, Kitty (Jim) Visher of Three Rivers, Michigan, Kris (Luke) Turner of Tecumseh, Michigan, Kathi (Mike Johnson) Cooper of Tecumseh, Michigan, Alicia (Jeff) Loomis of Britton, Michigan; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, John MacGeorge; father – in – law, Richard Russell Donohue, Sr.; and a sister – in - law, Teresa Hahn. White Funeral Home, Jesup, Iowa is in charge of arrangements. |
