Jesup – Sherri Ann Arbuckle, 65 years old, of Jesup, IA died Monday, May 29, 2017 at her home.

Sherri was born April 28, 1952, the daughter of Lavern Ladage and Emma (Lobeck) Ladage. She graduated from Jesup High School with the class of 1970. After high school she attended Pitze’s School of Beauty in Waterloo, IA, and became a licensed beautician. On March 20, 1994, she and Greg Q. Arbuckle were united in marriage in Jesup, IA. They lived in Cedar Rapids, IA, until 2008 when they decided to move home to Jesup.

Together they owned and operated the Jesup Grand Motel. Sherri was well versed in a lot of topics and loved to have a conversation.

Sherri is survived by one brother, Brian (Sharon) Ladage of West Melborne, FL; one nephew, Joseph (Kim) Cklobertanz of Mesa, AZ, and one step-son, Cyprian Alexzander of Cedar Rapids, IA.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Greg (March 24, 2017;) one brother and one sister in infancy, Kim Steven Ladage and Sally Ann Ladage.

Private family graveside services will be held at a later date at Cedar Crest Cemetery, Jesup, IA.
