Raymond – Teresa A. Conrad, 79, of Chanhassen, MN and formerly of Raymond, IA, died Sunday, March 19, 2017, at Ridge View Medical Center, Waconia, MN.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. - Thursday, March 23, 2017, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Raymond, IA, with burial at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Raymond, IA.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Wednesday at the White Funeral Home, Jesup, IA, where there will be a Parish Rosary at 5:00 p.m.  Visitation will continue for an hour before services Thursday at the church.  Memorials will be directed to St. Joseph’s Church in Raymond.

Teresa Ann Conrad was born December 2, 1937, in Gilbertville, IA, the daughter of Joseph John Hemmer and Anna M. (Federspiel) Hemmer.  She graduated from Immaculate Conception High School, Gilbertville, with the class of 1955.  On June 25, 1960, she was united in marriage to Louis Robert Conrad at Immaculate Conception Church in Gilbertville.  They made their home and raised their family in Raymond, IA.  Louis preceded her in death on April 21, 2010.  Mrs. Conrad worked at several businesses over the years including the Gilbertville Locker, St. Francis Hospital, Waterloo Schools Lunchroom attendant. and she also did domestic house cleaning.

Teresa is survived by one daughter, Roxane (Daniel) Harms of Chanhassen, MN; two grandchildren Ashley Harms and Cody Conrad.  Her parents; husband, Louis; one son, Joseph Conrad; two brothers, Cletus Hemmer and Gilbert Hemmer; and three sisters, Evelyn Hoffman, Marie Kane and Edith Youngblut, preceded her in death.
