Dunkerton – Debra J. Lindquist, 65 years old of Dunkerton, IA, died of cancer Monday, December 19, 2016 at her home.  A time of visitation with the family will be from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Friday, December 23, 2016, at the White Funeral Home, Jesup, IA.  Burial will be at a later date.  Memorials will be directed to the American Cancer Society.

Debra Jean Lindquist was born October 14, 1951, in Waterloo, IA, the daughter of Robert Arthur McGarvey and Lois Mildred Flaucher.  She graduated from Dunkerton High School with the class of 1969.  On March 21, 1970, she was united in marriage to DeVere K. Lindquist in Dunkerton, IA.  She was employed by the Iowa Department of Human Services for 25 years.

Debra is survived by her husband, DeVere of Dunkerton, three sons, Shane Lindquist (Andrea Navenma) of Waterloo, Joshua (Michelle) Lindquist of Dunkerton, Patrick Lindquist (Nicole Dawes) of Dunkerton; 5 grandchildren; her mother, Lois McGarvey of Dunkerton; six sisters, Karen Knebel of Dunkerton, Cheryl Rigdon of Newhall, Connie Stumme of Dunkerton, Denise (John) Meyer of Raymond, Patricia (Rob) McMahon of Dunkerton, Michelle (Joel) Rathe of Waterloo, IA; one brother, Ron (Fran) McGarvey of Dunkerton.  Her father and one sister, Kathy McGarvey preceded her in death.
