Dunkerton – Connie D. Hartwig, 61 years old of rural Dunkerton, IA, died Friday, October 21, 2016, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, IA.  She was born February 19, 1955, at Osage, IA, the daughter of Raymond Alfred Hartwig and Lorraine Laura (Ruechel) Hartwig.  Connie was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church, St. Ansgar, IA.  She graduated from St. Ansgar High School with the class of 1973.  She enjoyed the outdoors, and was a member of Ducks Unlimited.  Connie was currently employed at Ryder Logistics in Waterloo. IA.

Connie is survived by a special friend, Juanita Rubio of Dunkerton, IA; four brothers, Arlynn (Ginny Kerker) Hartwig of Davenport, IA, Andy (Susan) Hartwig of Northwood, IA, Michael Hartwig of Des Moines, IA, Craig (Nancy) Hartwig of Port Orchard, Washington. Many nieces, nephews and their families also survive.  Her parents and one sister, Audrey Miller, preceded her in death.

A Celebration of Life service will be held 2:00 p.m. – Sunday, November 6, 2016, at the Dewar Community Hall, Dewar, Iowa.  Memorials will be directed to charities.
