Jesup – Jordan Lee Engbretson, 25 years old of Iowa City, IA and formerly of Jesup, IA, died Sunday, October 2, 2016, in Coralville, IA, as the result of being struck by a motor vehicle on Highway 218.

Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 8, 2016, at the Jesup City Hall – Community Room.  The family will receive friends at the community room from 9:00 a.m. until service time.  Memorials may be directed to the family.

Jordan was born December 10, 1990, the son of Craig Joseph Geltz and Donna Kay Engbretson.  He attended Jesup schools and graduated with the class of 2009.  He worked at Goodwill Industries for a time, but recently moved to Iowa City.

Jordon is survived by his mother, Donna Geltz of Waukon, IA; paternal grandfather and step grandmother, Richard Engbretson and Janet Skiye of Jesup, IA along with many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father, Craig Geltz, maternal grandmother, Sharon Engbretson, and paternal grandparents, Joseph and Georgia Geltz.
