Mrs. Coulter is survived by her husband of 62 years, Bill, 4 daughters, Diana (Edwin) Henderson of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Patricia (William) Nielsen of Marengo, Iowa, Carol (Robert) Quass of Independence, Iowa, and Janet (Timothy) Soukup of Rowley, Iowa, 4 sons, Randy (Nancy) Coulter and William Coulter, both of Independence, Iowa, Darryl (Kristie) Coulter of Cape Coral, Florida, and John (Sharon) Coulter of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, 1 brother, John (Rose) Kerkove of New Hampton, Iowa, and 5 sisters, Shirley Bagby and Margaret Dilts, both of Independence, Iowa, Jeannette Kester and Barb (Robert) Fernald, both of Jesup, Iowa, and Mary Lou (Frank) Teel of Waterloo, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 sister, Alice Fernau, and 2 grandchildren, Erin Henderson and Dean Roepke. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, August 18, 2016, at St. John’s Catholic Church in Independence. Rev. David Beckman will be the Celebrant. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery in Independence. Friends may call for visitation from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 17th, at the White Funeral Home in Independence where a Parish Rosary begins at 3 p.m. and a Vigil Service begins at 7 p.m. |
