White Funeral Home Waterloo – Cliff David Youngblut, 31 years old of Waterloo, IA, and formerly of Raymond, IA, died Thursday, July 7, 2016, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, IA, from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident on Thursday, June 30th. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. – Tuesday, July 12, 2016, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Gilbertville, IA, with burial at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, Raymond. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Monday, at the White Funeral Home, Jesup, where there will be a 4:00 p.m. – Parish rosary and 6:00 p.m. – Vigil service. Visitation will continue for an hour before services Tuesday at the church. A memorial fund will be established in Cliff’s name. Cliff was born July 28, 1984, in Waterloo, IA, the son of David Edward Youngblut and Kimberly Kay (Phillips) Youngblut. He attended IC/St. Joseph School and Don Bosco High School, graduating with the class of 2003. The past five years he has been employed as a pipe layer, working for Peterson Contractors Inc. He enjoyed nature, hunting, fishing, gardening and helping raise his girlfriend’s children. Cliff is survived by his parents, Dave and Kim Youngblut of Raymond, IA; one sister, Jessica (Shane) Huck of Nashua, IA; one brother, A.J. (Amanda) Youngblut of Jesup, IA; his girlfriend and her children, Kayla Tanner of Waterloo and Michael, Emily and Collin. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ray and Cleo Youngblut and his maternal grandparents, James A. and Mary C. Phillips. |
