Hudson - Kathy M. Payne, 64 years old of rural Hudson and formerly of Gilbertville, IA, died Tuesday, September 01, 2015, at Covenant Medical Center, Waterloo, IA.  She was born August 8, 1951, in Waterloo, the daughter of Leo Arthur Weber and Bonnie Mary (Fischels) Weber.  Following graduation from Don Bosco High School with the class of 1969, she was united in marriage to Neil Williams.  They later divorced.  On June 25, 1997, she was married to Skip L. Payne in Black Hawk County, IA.  Kathy worked for Aramark Uniform Services until her health declined.  She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, watching Family Feud and Criminal Minds on television and attending tractor pulls with her husband.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Skip Payne of Hudson; one daughter, Tracy Williams of Atlanta, GA; one son, Troy Williams of Scottsdale, AZ; two grandchildren; one step-daughter, Nikki (Chris) Thomas of Tampa, FL; four step – grandchildren; her mother, Bonnie Weber of Gilbertville; two sisters, Janie Adams of Waterloo, Dixie (Lee) Harting of Gilbertville; three brothers, Gary (Joyce) Weber of Raymond, Rod (LuAnn) Weber of Jesup, Glen (Dawn) Weber of Gilbertville.  Her father and two brothers, Larry Weber and Steve Weber, preceded her in death.

Memorial services will be 10:00 a.m. – Friday, September 4, 2015, at the White Funeral Home, Jesup, IA, with Fr. Henry P. Huber officiating.  Burial will be at a later date.  Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.  Memorials may be directed to the family.
