Jesup –Arlene M. Weber, 83 years old of Jesup, IA, died Friday, August 21, 2015, at Allen Memorial Hospital, Waterloo, IA. She was born December 19, 1931, in Black Hawk County, IA, the daughter of Leonard and Margaret Federspiel. On February 8, 1950, she was united in marriage to Ronald Wilbert Weber at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Raymond. Arlene was a homemaker and farmed with her husband. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the Catholic Order of Foresters in Gilbertville.
Mrs. Weber is survived by two daughters, Mary Lee (John) Even of Readlyn, Jolene (Dan) Detweiler of Jesup; four sons, Rick (Roxanne) Weber of Jesup, Russell (Pamela) Weber of Marion, Ray (Lena) Weber of Jesup, Bob (Bonnie) Weber of Jesup; 25 grandchildren; 56 great grandchildren; one brother, Gerald Federspiel of Waterloo; two sisters, Rosie (Rich) Schares of Gilbertville, Mildred Werner of Waterloo; one step-sister, Rosalie Fischels of Waterloo. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Margaret; step - mother, Maxine Federspiel; her husband, Ronald (February 14, 2013); two grandchildren, Thomas and Donny Even; and three brothers, William, LeRoy and Robert Federspiel.
Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. - Tuesday, August 25, 2015, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Gilbertville, IA, with burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Gilbertville. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Monday at the White Funeral Home, Jesup, IA, where there will be a Catholic Order of Foresters Rosary at 4:00 p.m. and Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue for an hour before services Tuesday at the church. Memorials will be directed to Immaculate Conception Church, the Bosco System and other charities.
