Jesup – Craig Joseph Geltz, 52 years old of Jesup, IA died Friday, October 17, 2014, at Allen Memorial Hospital, Waterloo, IA.

Funeral Services will be 1:30 p.m. – Monday, October 20, 2014, at the White Funeral Home, Jesup, IA, with burial at Cedar Crest Cemetery, Jesup.  Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home.  Memorials may be directed to the family.

Craig was born, July 22, 1962, in Independence, IA, the son of Robert Lavern Geltz and Georgia Josephine (Kidd) Geltz.  He graduated from Independence High School with the class of 1981.  On October 5, 2001, he was united in marriage to Donna Kay Engbretson at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Independence.  Craig worked 22 years at McGregor Furniture in Waterloo and most recently had worked part time at East Central Iowa Cooperative in Jesup.  He was a NASCAR and stock car racing fan.

He is survived by his wife Donna Geltz of Jesup; and one son, Jordan Geltz at home.  He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Michael Geltz.
