White Funeral Home Jesup – Jerry D. Krusemark, 72 years old of Jesup, IA, died Saturday, May 03, 2014, at Manor Care Nursing and Rehab Center in Waterloo, IA. Services will be 10:30 a.m. – Wednesday, May 7, 2014, at the First United Methodist Church, Jesup, IA. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 6th at the First United Methodist Church in Jesup, where there will be a Masonic Lodge Service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue for an hour before services Wednesday at the church. Burial will be at a later date. Memorials will be directed to the family. White Funeral Home, Jesup, IA, is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Krusemark was born November 6, 1941, in Cedar, Iowa, the son of Henry Frederick Krusemark and Ruth Lucille (Pendarvis) Krusemark. He graduated from Cedar High School with the class of 1959. On March 3, 1963, he was united in marriage to Dorthea Darlene Uitermarkt in Oskaloosa, IA. Jerry worked as a truck driver, but was involved in several other ventures, including the restaurant, grocery and motel business. Most recently he had worked at the Isle of Capri in Waterloo. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Jesup, IA and the Masonic Lodge. Mr. Krusemark is survived by his wife, Dorthea of Jesup; one daughter, Julie (Scott) Close of Jesup; two sons, Joel (Krissa) Krusemark of Ankeny, IA, Justin Krusemark and friend, Tina of Jesup; 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; one brother, Leslie (Irene) Krusemark of Oskaloosa, IA, and two sisters, Frances Carroll of Williamsburg, Rosalie (Spencer) Dursky of Williamsburg. His parents; five brothers, William, Clarence, Lee, Harold and Robert Krusemark; and one granddaughter, Lindsey Krusemark preceded him in death. |
