Independence – Lylah EmmaMarie Wilson, 5 month old daughter of Emily A. Wilson, died on Sunday, January 26, 2014, at Toledo Children’s Hospital in Toledo, Ohio.  She was born on August 23, 2013, in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of Emily Ann Wilson.

Lylah is survived by her mother, Emily, of Independence, her maternal grandparents, Shaunna (Michael) Shepherd and Roger (Diane) Wilson, both of Independence, her great grandparents, Margaret Kilian of Independence and David and Liza Reed of Mt. Vernon, Washington, 6 aunts, 5 uncles, and 13 cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, February 3, 2014, at the Triumphant Church in Independence with Amber Hudson officiating.  Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Independence.  Friends may call for visitation from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Sunday, February 2, 2014, at the White Funeral Home in Independence.
