Jesup – Patricia J. Owen, 65 years old of Jesup, IA, died Wednesday, January 15, 2014, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.  She was born June 25, 1948, in Cedar Falls, IA, the daughter of Arol Trewin and Lillian (Price) Trewin.  She graduated from Jesup High School and then Gates Business College.  On August 7, 1982, she was united in marriage to Arthur L. “Butch” Owen at the First Presbyterian Church in Jesup.  He preceded her in death on November 13, 2003.  Patricia worked as a dietician before retirement.

Mrs. Owen is survived by one son, Brian (Sharon) Trewin of Jamul, CA; two grandchildren, Arol Trewin and Nicholas Trewin; one sister, Clara Smith of Clarksville, IA; and a sister-in-law, Lynda Trewin of Denver, CO.  In addition to her husband, her parents and one brother, Arol David Trewin preceded her in death.

Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. – Tuesday, January 21, 2014, at the Garden of Memories Cemetery, Waterloo, IA.  Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Monday, January 20^th at the White Funeral Home, Jesup, IA.  Memorials may be directed to the family.
