Dunkerton – Beverly A. Pugh, 78 years old of Rosewood Estates in Waterloo, IA, died Saturday, December 28, 2013, at her home in Waterloo. She was born July 28, 1935, in Allen County, Kansas, the daughter of Waldo Emerson Adams and Louise Ruby (Smith) Adams. She graduated from high school in 1953 at Humboldt, Kansas and attended business college in Omaha, Nebraska. On April 13, 1954, she was united in marriage to Robert Dean Pugh in Humboldt, Kansas. Beverly worked as secretary to the superintendent of Dunkerton Community Schools for several years. She was a member of the Dunkerton Methodist Church.

Mrs. Pugh is survived by her husband, Robert Pugh of Waterloo; one daughter, Cheryl Redies of San Tan Valley, AZ; one son, Michael Pugh of Hannibal MO; and one granddaughter, Tiffany Redies. Her parents, and two sisters, Dorothy Crawford and Wanda Seefeldt, preceded her in death.
