Independence – Laiklee Rose Carter, infant daughter of Brianna L. Haulk and Dakota J. Carter, was stillborn on Sunday, December 22, 2013, at Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo, Iowa.

She is survived by her parents, paternal grandparents, Lori and James Carter of Independence, maternal grandparents, Pam and Kevin Edgeton of Fairbank, and great grandparents, Marlene and Howard Rick of Walford, Lois and Chester Schantz of Alburnett, Jessie and Bob Peterson of Independence and Rose and Allen Haulk of Edgewood.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 26, 2013, at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Independence with Pastor Scott Meador officiating.  White Funeral Home of Independence is in charge of arrangements.
