White Funeral Home Jesup – Camilla L. Weber, 90 years old of Jesup, IA, died Tuesday, October 29, 2013, at Prairie Hills Assisted Living in Independence, IA, of congestive heart failure. She was born March 25, 1923, at Gilbertville, IA, the daughter of Matt Delagardelle and Catherine (Federspiel) Delagardelle. On January 5, 1944, she was united in marriage to Arnold Walter Weber at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Gilbertville. Arnold preceded her in death on April 21, 2012. Camilla assisted her husband with dairy farming, and also was employed as a seamstress at Powers Manufacturing, Waterloo, for 24 years, retiring in 1986. Camilla was a member of Immaculate Conception Parish in Gilbertville. In later years, she relished visits from her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, other family and friends. Camilla is survived by two sons, Michael “Mick” (Karen) Weber of Gilbertville; and Randy (Janan) Weber of Raymond; 2 daughters Sandra “Sandy” (David) Beyer of Waterloo; and Rosie (Bob) Bloes of Gilbertville; 12 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; one brother, Gene (Shirley) Delagardelle of Waterloo; and one sister, Norma (Ray) Lovell of Laurie, MO. In addition to her husband, Arnold, she was preceded in death six brothers, Anthony "Tim", Gerald, Roman, Robert, Jerome, and Louis Delagardelle; and three sisters, Rita Weber, Valeria Schmitz and Eileen Federspiel. Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, October 31, 2013, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Gilbertville, with Fr. Henry P. Huber, as celebrant. Music will be by Sue Reiter, organist, Laurie Thome, soloist, and the Resurrection Choir. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Gilbertville. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the White Funeral Home, Jesup, where there will be a parish Rosary at 4:00 p.m. and Vigil service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue for an hour before services Thursday at the church.
