Jesup – Donald J. Koshatka, 61 years old of Des Moines and formerly of Waterloo and Jesup, IA, died Saturday, August 3, 2013, at Harmony House Care Center in Waterloo.

He was born June 13, 1952, in Waterloo the son of James Koshatka and Marcella (Kies) Koshatka.  Following his education he was employed by Rycko Manufacturing in Des Moines as a factory worker.

Mr. Koshatka is survived by three half sisters, Patricia (Laol) Hoskins of Waterloo, Rita Wagner of Peoria, IL, Carol Hamilton of Independence, IA; and one half brother, David  (Karen) Koshatka of Cedar Falls.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 8, 2013, at St. Athanasius Catholic Church, Jesup, IA with burial in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the White Funeral Home, Jesup, IA, and for an hour before services Thursday at the church.

Memorials will be directed to St. Athanasius Catholic Church in Jesup.
