Rowley – Albert W. Bearbower, 58 years old, of rural Rowley, Iowa, died on Monday, July 8, 2013, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa.  He was born on September 8, 1954, in Independence, Iowa, the son of Merle Albert and Delores Ida (Kuhlman) Bearbower.  He graduated from high school in Independence, Iowa, with the Class of 1972.  Mr. Bearbower farmed in Buchanan County, Iowa.  He enjoyed attending farm auctions and tinkering with the “merchandise” he purchased.  He also liked to work on old cars and trucks.

Mr. Bearbower is survived by his daughter, Kendra Bearbower of Cuba City, Wisconsin, 1 sister, Beverly (Bruce) Anderson of Vinton, Iowa, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother and 1 sister, both in infancy.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 12, 2013, at the White Funeral Home in Independence with Dr. David A. Larson officiating.  Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Independence.  Friends may call for visitation from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 11^th, at the funeral home.
