INDEPENDENCE – Ralph W. “Bill” Dinnebier, 55 years old of rural Independence, IA, died Sunday, April 7, 2013, at the Buchanan County Health Center in Independence, IA.  He was born January 11, 1958, in Independence, IA, the son of William Dinnebier and Iva (Bailey) Dinnebier.  He attended Jesup schools, worked at the creamery and later was employed with Valley Servies. On March 4, 1978, he was united in marriage to Marla Maxine Nelson at the American Lutheran Church in Jesup.  They have made their home in rural Independence near Otterville the past 23 years.

Mr. Dinnebier is survived his wife Marla Dinnebier of rural Independence; four sisters, Glenda (Dean) Alshouse of Cedar Falls, Doris (Roger) Gust of Pendleton, Indiana, Evelyn Herrmann of Cedar Falls, Marsha Dinnebier of Tulsa, Oklahoma.  His parents and one brother, Ray Dinnebier preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. – Thursday, April 11, 2013, at the American Lutheran Church, Jesup, IA with Rev. Dawn Pederson officiating.  Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the White Funeral Home, Jesup, IA and for an hour before services Thursday at the church.
