Jesup – Susan Ann Morris, 61 years old, of Jesup, Iowa, died on Friday, January 11, 2013, at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo, Iowa.  She was born on February 27, 1951, in Oelwein, Iowa, the daughter of Keith Kirby and Betty Lou (Harn) Wilson.  She attended school in Oelwein and Rowley.  On November 8, 1981, she and James Eugene Morris were married in Independence, Iowa.  They were a truck driving team for Mayflower Moving for 16 years and several other companies.  Mrs. Morris retired in 2008.  She enjoyed sewing and crafts.  She also kept busy in her garden and canning the produce.

Mrs. Morris is survived by her husband, James, 4 sons, Tom (Vicki) Morris of Marion, Iowa, Tracy (Kelly Blake) Morris of North Wood, Iowa, Tracy Hackert of St. Croix, Wisconsin, and Michael (Diane) Hackert of Winthrop, Iowa, 1 daughter, Trischa (Robert) Williams of Shawnee, Kansas, 14 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.  She is also survived by 6 sisters, Ruth (Bob) Hall, Judy (Ray) Smith, Theresa (Ron) Straw, and Christine (Doug) Hogan, all of Independence, Iowa, Grace Mendenhall of Winthrop, Iowa, and Mary Lou (Duane) Ellis) of Flagstaff, Arizona, and 2 brothers, John (Tina) Wilson and Jerome (Jean) Wilson, both of Waterloo, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her step father, Francis O’Brien, 1 sister, Linda Bonefas, 1 brother, James Wilson, and 2 brothers-in-law, Richard Bonefas and Dennis Mendenhall.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 16, 2013, at the White Funeral Home in Independence with Sharon Bainbridge officiating.  Casket Bearers will be James Hackert, Matt Birchard, Dentin Rawson, Jeremiah Wilson, Josh Young, and Miles Hogan.  Burial will be in Rowley Cemetery in Rowley, Iowa.  Friends may call for visitation from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 15^th, at the White Funeral Home in Independence.
