Quasqueton - James Kirby Wilson, 46 years old, of Quasqueton, Iowa, died on Wednesday, January 2, 2013, at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo, Iowa.  He was born on February 11, 1966, in Independence, Iowa, the son of Keith Kirby and Betty Lou (Harn) Wilson.  He attended school in Independence.  Mr. Wilson was an area concrete construction worker.

Mr. Wilson is survived by one daughter, Amanda J. (Gabriel Reed) Wilson of Osage, Iowa, 1 grandson, Tristan Jost, at home, 7 sisters, Susan (Jim) Morris of Jesup, Iowa; Ruth (Bob) Hall, Judy (Ray) Smith, Theresa (Ron) Straw, and Christine (Doug) Hogan, all of Independence, Iowa; Grace Mendenhall of Winthrop, Iowa, and Mary Lou (Duane) Ellis of Flagstaff, Arizona; 2 brothers, John (Tina) Wilson and Jerome (Jean) Wilson, both of Waterloo, Iowa, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his step father, Jay O’Brien, and 1 sister, Linda Bonefas.

The family will greet friends at a Celebration of Life from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday, January 5, 2013, at the White Funeral Home in Independence, Iowa.
