Jesup – Patricia Ann Weber, 92 years old of Jesup, IA, died Sunday, July 8, 2012, at her home from cancer.  She was born July 7, 1920, in Osceola County, near Ashton, IA, the daughter of John Henry Breuer and Emma Elizabeth (Melcher) Breuer.  On October 1, 1946, she and Francis Joseph Weber were united in marriage in Ashton, IA.  She and Francis farmed for many years before moving to town in 1984.  Pat was a homemaker. She was also known for her bread baking, enjoyed knitting and crochet, and volunteered at St. Athanasius School.  She was a member of St. Athanasius Catholic Church and Catholic Daughters of America Court of St. Pius X #1714 of Jesup.

Mrs. Weber is survived by eight sons, Nicholas J. (Nancy) Weber of Jesup, IA, Michael L. Weber of Jesup, IA, Frank J. (Karen) Weber of Independence, IA, Charles R. (Cathy) Weber of Jesup, IA, Philip F. Weber of Fairbank, IA, Denis J. (Ann) Weber of Independence, IA, David J. (Sue) Weber of Waterloo, IA, Alfred P. (Jane) Weber of Waterloo, IA; four daughters, Kathleen (Bruce Zimmerman) Weber of West Linn, OR, Mary Sue Moore of Manhattan, KS, Annette (Jim) Ingles of Jesup, IA, Jane (Kevin) Story of Spokane, WA; 26 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; one brother, Wilfred P. Breuer of Waterloo, IA.

She was preceded in death by  her husband Francis (2009); one daughter, Ruth Weber; son-in-law, Col. Hylan C. Moore, M.D.; also her parents; six brothers, Jack, Jerome, Denis, Tommy, Roland and Pat Breuer; and one sister, Virginia Cistulli.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. – Wednesday, July 11, 2012, at St. Athanasius Catholic Church, Jesup, IA, with Fr. Scott F. Boone, as celebrant and assisted by Deacon Alan Weber.  Music will be by Monica Bengston, organist, Todd Rohlfsen, soloist and the St. Athanasius Choir.  Burial will be at St. Athanasius Catholic Cemetery, Jesup, IA.

Friends may call anytime after 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 10, 2012, at the White Funeral Home, Jesup, IA, where there will be a Catholic Daughters of America Rosary at 3:00 p.m. and Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday.  Visitation will continue for an hour before services Wednesday at the church.  Memorials will be directed to St. Athanasius School in Jesup, IA and to the Bosco System in Gilbertville, IA
