Independence – Rose LaDell Fuller, 103 years old, of Independence, Iowa, died on Friday, June 1, 2012, at East Towne Care Center in Independence. She was born on December 22, 1908, in Buchanan County up river from Independence, Iowa, the daughter of Thomas Fitzgerald and Ruth Amelia (Drown) Potts. She graduated from high school in Independence. On September 3, 1927, she and Rolland Franklin Fuller were married in Galena, Illinois. He preceded her in death in 1997. Mrs. Fuller was a beautician with a shop in her home until she retired. She enjoyed hunting and fishing and traveling with family and friends.

Mrs. Fuller is survived by her sister-in-law, Mildred Potts of Independence, Iowa, and several nieces and nephews.

Grave side services will be held at 3:00 p.m. onMonday, June 4, 2012, at Mt. Hope Cemeteryin Independence, with Rev. John Hougen officiating.
