WATERLOO – Ethel P. Leteff, 85 years old of Waterloo, IA, died Saturday, March 24, 2012, at Covenant Medical Center Waterloo.  She was born September 15, 1926, in Parnell, KY, the daughter of Hubert Stephenson and Linnie (Reynolds) Stephenson.  She married Herman Willie Leteff, March 28, 1950, in Texas.  They later divorced.  Ethel worked as a hostess and waitress in the hotel and restaurant industry.

Ethel is survived by three daughters, Judith Knox of Warren, IN, Deborah Hagen of Cedar Falls, Bonita (Joe) Conrad of Waterloo; one son, Herman “Michael” Leteff of Butler, PA; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and several sisters and brothers.

She is preceded in death by her parents, one son in infancy, Herman Willie Leteff, Jr. and several brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. – Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at the White Funeral Home, Jesup, IA, with burial at St. Joseph Cemetery, Raymond, IA.  Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.  A memorial fund has been established.
