Faribank – Rodney Dean Bantz, 49 years old of Fairbank, IA, died Thursday, March 3, 2022, in Waucoma, IA.

Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. - Friday, March 11, 2022, at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Raymond, IA, with burial following.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Thursday, March 10, 2022, at the White Funeral Home, Jesup, IA.

Rodney was born April 25, 1972, in Waterloo, IA, the son of Wendell Dana Bantz and Linda Sue (Etringer) Bantz.  He graduated from Wapsie Valley High School, Fairbank, IA, with the class of 1990.  Rodney loved spending time with family and friends; driving and traveling around the country.

Rodney is survived by his mother, Linda Etringer of Fairbank; two brothers, Dan Bantz (Jamie Westendorf) of Oelwein, IA, Corey (Megan) Bantz of Oelwein; one sister, Dana (James) Klink of Sumner, IA; a special friend, Brock “Juvy” Eldridge of Fairbank; many nieces and nephews and one great niece.

His father; paternal grandparents, Dallas & JoAnne Bantz and maternal grandparents, Peter & Margaret Etringer, preceded him in death.

White Funeral Home, Jesup, IA is assisting the family with arrangements.
