Dunkerton – Finley Eugene Youngton, infant daughter of Kyle Youngton and Nichole Spece, died of natural causes, Monday, June 28, 2021, at home surrounded by her family in Dunkerton, IA.

Finley was born on Sunday, June 27, 2021, at UnityPoint - St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids, IA. Her strength and courage to overcome her underdeveloped heart earned her the nickname, “Finley the Fighter" and she left a lasting impact on our lives in her short time with us.

Finley is survived by her parents, Kyle and Nichole of Dunkerton; one brother, Layne Gibson; two sisters, Adaline Youngton and Willow Youngton, all at home; maternal grandparents Randy (Cindy) Spece of Independence, IA; paternal grandparents, Kenneth, Sr. (Kelli) Youngton of Cedar Falls, IA; maternal great-grandmother, Phylliss Randall of Quasqueton, IA; paternal great-grandmother, Marilyn Root of Oelwein, IA. She is also survived by her uncles and aunts, Tyler (Jenny) Spece of Fayette, IA, Kenneth, Jr. (Kristan) Youngton of Kesley, IA, Kassidy Youngton of Cedar Falls, IA; and many cousins.

She is preceded in death by her maternal great-grandparents, Eugene and Donna Spece; maternal great-grandfather, Robert Vandaver; paternal great-grandparents, Bill Youngton and Mary Anderson; and paternal great-grandfather, Curtis Root.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m. – Friday, July 2, 2021, at White Funeral Home, Jesup, IA with public visitation from 11:00 a.m. until service time, Friday, at the funeral home.

She will be missed dearly, loved forever, and never forgotten.
