White Funeral Home Jesup – Wilbur Charles “Bud” Marsh, 80 years old of Jesup, IA, died Wednesday, October 28, 2020, at his home. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. – Tuesday, November 3, 2020, at Cedar Crest Cemetery, Jesup, IA, with Pastor Kristen Corr Rod officiating. A livestream of the service will be made available on the American Lutheran Church – Jesup, Facebook page. Visitation will be Monday, November 2, 2020, at the White Funeral Home, Jesup, IA, from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Memorials may be directed to the family or a charity of the donor’s choice. Wilbur was born November 15, 1939, at Jesup, IA, the son of Lewis Marsh and Florence (Hull) Marsh. He graduated from Jesup High School with the class of 1958. On July 10, 1965, he was united in marriage to Nadine Elizabeth May in Jesup, IA. Bud worked 30 years for Deere and Company in Waterloo and retired in 1993. After retirement he worked part time at Waterloo Lumber and later at Birdnow Chevrolet in Jesup. He was a member of the American Lutheran Church in Jesup and was also a member of UAW Local #838 in Waterloo and Jesup Golf and Country Club. Wilbur is survived by one daughter, Nicole Marsh-Hemmer and husband Jack Hemmer of Jesup; two grandchildren, Olivia (Tyler) Frush of Jesup and Brady Hemmer of Waterloo; two great grandchildren, Nora and Ella Frush; two brothers, Gil (Cheryl) Marsh of Jesup, Lee (Rachel) Marsh of Woonsocket, RI; one sister, Jo (Marvin) Hayward of Independence, IA. In addition to his wife, Nadine; his parents; one brother, Lewis Marsh and 5 sisters, Winona, Harriette, Rosalie, Winifred, and Marjorie preceded him in death. |
