White Funeral Home Jesup – Lloyd Clayton Haskin, 97 years old, of Oelwein and formerly of the Jesup area, died Sunday September 13, 2020, at Grandview Health Care Center in Oelwein, where he lived the past seven plus years. Graveside services and burial will be 11:00 a.m. – Saturday, September 19, 2020 at Grandview Cemetery, Austin, Minnesota. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Friday, September 18, 2020 at the White Funeral Home, Jesup, IA. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, masks and social distancing will be expected. Online condolences may be posted at www.White-MtHope.com Lloyd was born April 22, 1923, in Iowa, the son of Ernest Adelbert Haskin and Vesta Lucille (Clayton) Haskin. His was raised in Austin, Mn and attended school there. During his working years, he worked as a foreman building highway paving machines at Iowa Manufacturing in Marion, IA. Lloyd is survived by one sister, Velma Bonnerup of Albert Lea, MN; 3 brothers, James (Jean) Haskin of Dunkerton, IA, Harold (Sharon) Haskin of Hackensack, MN, Cecil Haskin of Denver, IA; one sister in law, Sharron Haskin of Waterloo, IA and many nieces and nephews. His parents, four sisters, Beverlee Starry, Dorothy Todalen, Arlis Snyder, Eleanor Lickteig; one brother, Kenneth Haskin and a special friend Marcella Clayton, preceded him in death. |
