Waterloo – Patrick J. Kinsel, 66 years old of Waterloo, IA, died Saturday, March 14, 2020, at UnityPoint Health-Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo.  Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. – Thursday, March 19, 2020, at the White Funeral Home, 1315 Main Street, Jesup, IA.  Inurnment will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery with military rites conducted by the United States Marine Corp.  Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 18^th at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the family.

Pat was born December 1, 1953, in New Hampton, IA, the son of Virgil Eugene Kinsel and Elsie Angela (Horan) Kinsel.  In 1971 he entered the USMC and served in Vietnam.  While in the Marines, he received his GED.  On October 26, 1974, he was united in marriage to Sherryl Marie Reuter at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Waterloo.  Pat was a welder and worked 34 years at John Deere in Waterloo until his retirement in 2008.

Pat is survived by his wife, Sherry Kinsel of Waterloo; two daughters, Angela (Rob) Vandemark of Norwalk, IA, Lisa (Mike) Even of Gilbertville, IA; 5 grandchildren; one brother, Clifford Kinsel of Waterloo, IA; and one sister, Mary Kinsel of Waterloo, IA.  His parents and one brother, Raymond Kinsel, preceded him in death.

*Waterloo - Patrick J Kinsel, 66 years old of Waterloo, IA, died Saturday, March 14, 2020, at UnityPoint Health-Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo.  Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, services will be privately held Thursday at White Funeral Home, Jesup, IA, with inurnment at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Raymond, IA.  His body has been cremated.

Due to the CDC recommended protocols of only 50 people gatherings, the visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home, and will be limited as well.  Friends are encouraged to reach out remotely to the family.  A celebration of life may be held at a later date for friends.
